Well Bernie himself might be left, but if he became president that wouldn't change the democratic party, they would still be center-right so hmm, I meant you can vote sanders but he is not the party, not by a longshot.

But the distance between the politicians and the normal people is shocking.

Yeah, I just saw an article today which I'll post in here that was about how far apart the american people are from their "leaders." How do you know so much about american politics? Is everyone in the Netherlands this informed?

I read the American section of spidr.today (new aggregator), watch Real Time on Sundays (if I can and it's there) and basically whole saidit is American focused and are most my mastodon contacts.

We do have our Dutch news reporting on some American things like the trade war, elections and Trump's tweets :p But no, I can fairly say that normal Dutch people aren't too much invested in American Politics.

You are very up to date on what's going on here. Like, you even seem to know nuances .... Do you want to live here some day? Your big appointment is tomorrow right?

Not really, maybe for the nature but if I migrate I would prefer Iceland or some Scandinavian country.

But maybe with Yang it would be doable with healthcare, but buying new glasses without insurance would wreck me up there :p

But like I said, most of my online traffick goes with English speakers and mostly America.

I wouldn't hold my hopes out for Yang. Yeah, I prob should join you in the paradise of Europe tbh.

Eh eh, Maybe Canada? I can see Europe being hard to integrate into especially because you need to learn a new language (Because on October 31st the UK is OUT, so only Ireland has English, bu that's also pretty different).
