Yes, there are even some 'hear plays' I've seen because it only had photos as video, probably those lost ones.

But for todays stuff, you can even download The Darkman Trilogy in 1080p with ease as pirate, so it will be around somewhere, even the streaming content.

But a bigger issue he might be right about, is like with the books: Writers sold the rights to books to the 'producer/publisher' and now years later the book are gone and the publishers doesn't want to reprint but the fans want it (think like reading it to your children or something) and the writer (who is still alive) can't help them out. Like wise with the streaming content, the content is there and options for the creators to stream it are easy enough (see otv for example, pump in 10,000$ and you can crack out a simple streaming platform) BUT the license holders (like Disney-, amazone dime, etc. [intentional joke names]) because they are now producing shows, will not allow it.

If you are paranoid about cyber criminals and want to be 100% safe: Use a Computer/laptop NOT connected to the internet, disk encryption and local encrypted backups on drive and these encrypted files you can upload via another computer (or Phone) to whatever crappy cloud service you want to use ma'm!

But remember, Hackers are NOT cyber criminals, that's like calling car-mechanics 'terrorists' because some terrorists tweak their cars to explode.

From Matt I've only heard this one and the one about Q-anon (he interviews a researcher who researches the q-anon following). Q-anon being very Cyberpunk in a sort of proto-cyber-cult (but not in a good way like Cult of the Dead Cow but really more of a money-scam-cult thinking they are 'wired' but they are actually just the internet version of a TV-zombie.

I do like the language thing because not only does it feature the frame problem which is also the problem for 'A.I.' (which we don't have an anyone says they have it are just marketing scum from a IT-consultancy who don't know shit :p . But it feeds in the the human-programing or maybe better said: Our own perpetual hacking of our own mind with language (which can be good, bad, but mostly ugly).

A funny, 'living the modern cyberpunk life' podcast would be Homo Vulgaris (also on stitcher).

I'll make a whole list post..

Chris's is good for doing laundry etc. It's not bad to lose your earplug once in awhile while it gets stuck somewhere hanging the laundry. It's pretty funny, sometimes he rants about a thing too much, but it's okay. I've never seen anything of him except that episode in workaholics and know his podcast via the H3podcast where he was a guest (and has been once or twice more). Cringes

Joker — which was written by Phillips and Scott Silver — doesn’t have a plot; it’s more like a bunch of reaction GIFs strung together. When Arthur gets fired from his clown job, he struts by the time-clock, deadpans, “Oh no, I forgot to punch out” and then, wait for it, socks it so hard it dangles from the wall. Make a note of the moment, because you’ll be seeing it a lot in your Twitter and Facebook feeds.

There is nothing left but an empty shell if you shill for Facebook AND Twitter in such a obvious "Hey kids, see I'm cool too with all these Internetz Technologies"-way. It really feels like the writer wants to do a 'better joker' with it's sick-ass joke skills:

There’s a sick joke in there somewhere. Unfortunately, it’s on us.

NO! this is just accepting surveillance capitalism!

Get fXgged, if you're fXgged in the head people KNOW, just like they knew with Epstein (oh but le money!!! I wouldn't say anything that could SAVE FUCKING 14 YEAR OLD GIRLS FROM BEING FUCKED BY CREEPY OLD FUCKS! because le money, you know, money!!! MONEY! Money == rape of children in the politics of the USA {from Cinton to Trump, at least})

Maybe writers should write shit they get told 'via via' what the actors/directors/whatever have done and make them real uncomfortable, I bet some actors (like Keanu) are in for that as well, to act that all out... Hey Cosby, what if you drugged that young girl and 'pretend to rape her', have some "to catch a predator crew" stand by for the "hey Cosby, you just acted out this scene, seemed familiar!?" and Flame it all with a sauce of 'everybody was shocked'... and then some deranged gun-holder walked in and killed just the one person.

Porn isn't cool, you're not cool, it's all just meh at best, get over it, in the USA it's a thing to get prostitution going (LOL there is a camera, it's porn, not prostitution). It's all symptoms of a world gone mad, where masturbation is a shame but when porn or prostitution is involved it's A-OKAY. nah still as fucked as the 12-yr old person masturbating.

It's for children, like hell, grow up and masturbate on your own if you have to or find a room (online) for it. Main is main, for real stuff, sure real stuff is hard to find but tingling the extremes of the nervous-system isn't equal to real...

Man, This magazine may bare my name, but it sure is well, 'special'... It's not that hard to find out how to privately navigate the web... Talking about Apple 'safari' like it's a thing... NOBODY WANTS APPLE, WHAT!? Do you know what the world is!?

https://melmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Screen-Shot-2019-09-03-at-4.48.34-PM.png

Says it all, TOR if you are horny, it streams youtube and 'shady russian TV streams' just fine in 1080p so you mutty porn also!!! But just don't do it or masturbate on your own, it's not hard!

Argh /angry rant

*Disclaimer: If you have apple products: cool, no problem, Apple just sucks harder than a Dyson vacuum.

The old (they did a re-watch) or the new one?

I was 9 when The Matrix came out... it wasn't until I was 11 that I bought it (with my own money, we just got a DVD player and my BF told me it was a good movie). I watched it every Wednesday (i was home alone from 12:00 till 16:00-17:00 Holland schooling, for over 1 year) So I don't really need a re-watch of the thing, but the Matrix 4 I look forward too especially with the 'social media revolution' I hope they shit on that a lot.

As the song goes, above I mean, I will survive and so will you.

But the Matrix 4 thread is going to be filled with me at least once or twice.

I only heard this yesterevening, already a possible fan. I missed out on a lot of Cyberpunk/goth/this in my early life though I did dove into the both sides, never combined, until a few years ago.

Soothing, Gothic, dystopian and some sort of victory hidden in small places.

I played this game and it has a great story (lot of writing invloved, lot of cutscenes, animated cutscenes but also incame text-based cutscenes etc.) it's a real good game (am playing the persona 3 soon(tm) again because I once stopped midway through a couple of years ago).

I like the Final Fantasy (except 7 and beyond 9), Ace attorney, nonary and Persona games mostly for their stories. (If it can I do like the original Japanese voices as they sound better acted usually). But mostly not that much for games, more into puzzle ones.

So no, but I appreciate craftsmanship. And this OST has a few catchy tunes than go well for background music when I social company who don't like my usual music.

Yes. I particularly like the idea of subs where people post their works in progress in a serialized way, and can develop an audience and get feedback and positive reinforcement along the way. That was part of my original vision for this.

Nice story, about how he did it, and yeah that's best be done at portcity with (I guess) a restricted sub, aka, only the author can post OPs and the other people can critique in the comments.
